Client Rights
In accordance with Texas House Bill 4224 (89th Regular Session), of Sept. 1, 2025, per Section 181.105 of the Health and Safety Code:
* Personal Health Care Records may be requested by each Therapy Client. You may request your personal health care records from your Therapist with Hope Dynamics Counseling, by sending a written request by email to your therapist’s email address. *Every effort will be made to provide copies of the Client’s health care record within 30 days of receiving the request. *The Client will be responsible to provide the name and mailing address of Whom the records shall be sent to. *The Client will be responsible to pay for any printing or postage costs.
At Hope Dynamics Counseling, we assure you that our professional counseling services will be provided in a safe and ethical manner. However, in the event of a complaint, we request that the Client first speak to their Therapist to seek a resolution to the matter. If you feel that the matter has not been resolved, or that there is a continued ethical concern, the Client may file an official complaint by contacting the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council’s webpage, found at https://bhec.texas.gov/contact-us/
Additionally, a Client may file a consumer complaint with the Office of Attorney General’s Consumer Protection webpage, found at https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection
